Teen Summer Reading 2007 -- Inaugural Meeting

• To theme or not to theme?
  • Tentative decision: stick with theme, go broad in interpretation
  • Possibility of graphics creating new logo
• Booklists
  • Too many print booklists last year!
  • Booklist possibilities:
    • Several smaller themed booklists, print in smaller quantities
    • Four-part perforated booklist, creates design when folded together
    • Several booklists with TSR information included, pieces of picture on the back -- "collect all four to find the picture!"
• TSR Website
  • Would like central TSR portal -- address on all print materials, mirrored at www.carnegielibrary.org/tsr and www.einetwork.net/tsr.  Users would select location and be directed to correct website.
  • Central eVanced website for district TSR evals, links to individual library sites.
• Possible promotions:
  • Print extra posters to post in fast food restaurants, etc.
  • Along the boards at ice arenas
  • School newspapers
  • Yearbooks
  • Teens on Q
  • Radio Spot
  • Tekkoshocon
  • Malls
  • PTA meetings
